26th May 2013
Well not surprisingly we had a later than expected start this morning and once all the packing was done we had breakfast, said our goodbyes to Frank, Jackie & Kahli and left the house just after 10am. We made a fuel stop on the way out of town, which took a while and finally hit the road around 11am.
Our first stop of the day was some 40km away as we crossed the border into the Northern Territory, which was a great feeling.

We stopped for lunch at Big Horse Creek on the Victoria River, it was great for the girls to see and know where Kim and I launch from on our fishing trips. I must admit it was a bit strange not having a fish at the river today. I dropped a key off in Timber Creek that I forgot to hand in from our stay earlier in the week and continued our drive for the day.
