Our last day in Adelaide started slowly with the girls having a sleep in. So Rach and I took the opportunity to do some food shopping and restock the van getting it ready to hit the road tomorrow, where we officially start our journey home, which we are all very excited and very sad about at the same time.
With that done, the girls awake and breakfast complete we left the house at 10.30am and drove into the city. We went straight to NAB again so Rach could collect her new card, where it took the best part of 45 minutes to convince them to hand it over, as they were insisting on photo ID and of course the fact that Rach's purse got stolen, she didn't have any. Anyway eventually sanity prevailed!

With that mission accomplished we did a little bit of shopping, grabbed some lunch and then headed to the Central Markets, which is an undercover fresh produce market in the heart of the city and it was superb. The quality of the produce was awesome, we spent a good hour here just wandering around. We stocked up , returned to the car and loaded up the Engel and dry box for the next few days.

Although it was pretty cold, we came across an ice cream place called Cold Rocks, which allows you to choose your ice cream flavour and then choose from about 25 different types of confectionery, such as gummy bears, maltesers, Tim Tams, mars bars, caramel fudge etc, which they then lovingly smash into your ice cream of choice on a frozen bench top before serving. It was delicious!

As it was getting late in the day, we caught the tram back to the city, during the tram ride home I received one of the best phone calls I've ever had, Tony the manager from the Motel in Coober Pedy called to let me know that when his kids were playing this afternoon they miraculously found our camera, complete with all the memory cards in tact. This, as you can imagine, was both unbelievable & sensational news at the same time and certainly made our day. Tony even agreed to send it registered post home for us, which is just fantastic news.

We also would like to apologise to our friend Justin in SA and all our eastern states friends for not being able to catch up on this trip around, but unfortunately we could only fit so much in. But rest assured we have already been planning our next trip, which will be sure to include a visit to you all on the east coast.
